Terms and Conditions of Tonewood Family Music’s Classes
COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS: Masks are optional for this semester. If another variant of Covid begins to spread, it is possible that we will need to reassess this policy during the course of the semester and they may become required once again. Our safety policies always consider everyone that visits Tonewood. Please know that there are UV germicidal lights in the air handlers, the floor is regularly disinfected, and hand sanitizer is always available, however, we are not liable for illnesses contracted during your time in the studio.
MAKE-UP CLASSES: Four make-up classes per semester are allowed. Classes that already have the maximum of 12 children will only accommodate one make-up family. Make-up classes must be arranged with 24 hours notice, but can be attended either before or after the class you miss. Make-up classes are on a first-come, first-served basis. They do not transfer from one semester to the next. There will not be a refund for missed classes that are not made up.
CANCELLATIONS: Major holidays or extreme weather may result in the cancellation of classes. We will make every effort to give you at least 24 hours notice that your class has been cancelled. In most circumstances, the semester will simply be extended by one day in order to accommodate each missed class day. In certain instances, this extension will not be possible and a make-up class will be offered at another time and/or location instead.
REFUNDS: A full refund is allowed only before the second class and provided that the materials you received (songbook, CDs) are returned unopened and undamaged. A $45.00 base fee [$25 for Guitar class] will apply if the materials are not returned, or returned open or damaged. After the second class, a partial refund can be given for special exceptions involving inability to finish the semester due to extenuating circumstances. After the third class, materials will not be returnable and the $45 base fee plus $13 (+$13/each sibling) per class attended will apply.
SWITCHING CLASSES: Due to the restrictions on class sizes (minimum and maximum amounts), switching class times, dates, or locations will only be allowed if it does not change the ability to offer the class in which you are currently enrolled.
PROBLEMS WITH CLASS OR A TEACHER: Any concerns that you may have about the quality of your class should be taken to your Teacher or brought to the Director of Tonewood Family Music, Inc. Problems with a Teacher should be brought to the Director.
“SING OUR PRAISES” REWARD PROGRAM: Once you have become a student of Music Together® through Tonewood Family Music, Inc., we want you to come back again and again – and bring friends. We make it easier for you to come back by offering you $15 off your next semester for every family that you refer — up to the full cost of your next semester. (That family must stay past the second week of class in order to qualify as a referral.) The reward will come in the form of a credit to your Tonewood Family Music account. Only the person specifically named on the registration form will qualify for the reward, so please make sure your friends use your name when they sign up.
